Where are the brushes manufactured?

Our brushes are produced in our fully-owned facilities in Tianjin and Jinghai, China. We've proudly owned and operated our Tianjin facility for over 19 years, and our newer Jinghai facility for over 4 years.

How are your brushes responsibly manufactured in China?

We are committed to safer and cleaner manufacturing processes with complete control, from research & development to brush production. We own 100% of our two manufacturing facilities and are proud to produce 100% closed-loop manufacturing, which means we have full control over our supply chain and process – from concept to your hand. This translates to you knowing where and how your brushes were made. We stand behind our promise that ANISA brushes and tools are made using the highest quality materials, hand-crafted by skilled artisans, and manufactured using clean and socially responsible methods.

Are ANISA’s products cruelty-free??

Yes, all brush fibers are PETA-certified and cruelty-free. The brush head, ferrule and handle are not manufactured or developed methods that involve experimentation or testing on animals.

What are the brush fibers made from?

Our brush bristles are 100% synthetic, man-made fiber and are cruelty-free. Our brush bristles are not produced from any animals and are not tested on animals.

Is your packaging eco-friendly?

We are in the process of transitioning all of our makeup brushes to be made with 100% PCR (post-consumer recycled) plastic handles, including the ferrule and ring. Each brush is packed in FSC certified packaging and wrapped in FSC certified tissue paper. This means for every tree harvested to make paper, a new tree is planted in its place. Our purple star packing peanuts are 100% biodegradable. Don't forget to recycle your box.

What is the best cleaning solution to use when washing my brushes?

The Wash is uniquely formulated to “wash away” powder-based formulas on your makeup brushes giving them that brand new feeling. You can also use a gentle soap that is alcohol-free – this works best for most brush fibers.

How do I clean my brushes?

WEEKLY/MONTHLY BRUSH CLEANING - Use The Wash premium brush cleaner from ANISA Beauty. Add the brush cleaner directly to the brush head. Without adding any water, work the brush cleaner into the brush fibers. For faster deep cleaning, use a silicone brush cleaning pad, like the Brush Cleaning Pad. Rinse thoroughly with water. Squeeze excess water from fibers and gently reshape brush head. Lay flat to dry. Do not reuse until brush is completely dry. SKIN CARE BRUSHES USED WITH PIGMENTED AND/OR ACID/OIL-BASED FORMULAS AFTER EACH USE - Use The Wash premium brush cleaner from ANISA Beauty. Add the brush cleaner directly to the brush head. Are the brushes soft?

Yes, ANISA Beauty brush fibers are very soft and are designed for optimal product pick-up and application.

Do the brushes irritate the skin?

Our brush fibers are fully synthetic and should not irritate your skin. However, if irritation occurs please discontinue use and consult your doctor or dermatologist.

Do the brushes shed?

Since the brush fibers are synthetic, shedding should be minimal. Shedding may occur with usage of alcohol-based disinfecting brush cleaners - please ensure these are used properly by visiting our Brush Care page.

Do the brush fibers stain?

Use of products that are highly pigmented (such a charcoal/clay/mud facial masks), and/or are acid/oil-based formulas may cause staining of brush bristles, handle, and ferrule. If you are using one of these products, we highly recommend cleaning your brushes after each use per our Care Instructions, which you can find outlined on each Product Page. We recommend cleaning your brushes every 1-2 weeks to keep them in the best condition possible and free of permanent stains.

Do your deep cleaning products fragrance?

The Wash Brush Cleanser has less than a 1% fragrance.

What do I do if an item is out of stock?

If an item you wish to purchase is out of stock, please select the "notify me" button on the product page to be notified when it will be back in stock. What is the lifespan of an ANISA brush?

ANISA brushes are crafted using the highest quality materials and methods. Depending on usage and your brush care routine, your ANISA brushes can last up to two years or longer.

Do you have a take-back program or recycling program for your products?

At this time, we are strategically focused on the manufacturing and materials we use. We are also focused on educating about how caring for your brushes will prolong their life, and how they can be repurposed when they are no longer needed for makeup or skin care. We encourage you to repurpose your older brushes that are no longer needed. Instead of throwing them away, please consider: Washing and donating them to women’s shelters/nonprofits that accept brushes, Gifting them to a nail salon, Using as paint brushes, Using for hair dye DIYs, Using for dusting or detail cleaning. Over the years, we have investigated the possibility of a recycling program. We have not found viable solutions to date. How long will it take for my order to arrive?

First Class (USPS) typically arrive within 3-5 business days. Shipping dates are provided by the mail carrier and are not guaranteed. Please note that the Quick Dry Brush Cleaner Spray cannot be shipped UPS Overnight. All orders that include the Quick Dry Brush Cleaner Spray will be shipped USPS Ground. UPS Overnight orders placed before 3:30 pm EST arrive the next business day. Please note UPS will not ship to a P.O BOX. All orders placed after 3:30 pm on a Friday will ship the following business day. This shipping option excludes Saturday delivery. For possible Saturday delivery, please contact customer service before placing your order.

How do I know if my order was successfully placed?

Upon placing your order, you will receive a confirmation email with an order number. If you do not see your confirmation email, please check your spam or junk folders. If you do not receive a confirmation email within 24 hours of placing your order, please email us at support@anisabeauty.com

What type of payment methods do you accept?

ANISA Beauty accepts all major credit cards – VISA, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Additionally, we accept Apple Pay, Google Pay, Facebook Pay, PayPal, and Shop Pay by Shopify.

Do you offer special buy now, pay later options?

What happens if my payment is declined?

If your payment is declined, please double-check your card information and try resubmitting. If your payment is declined again, please contact your credit card provider.

Shipping & Delivery

How do I qualify for free shipping?

Free First Class shipping is offered on purchases of $50 or more, pre-tax.

Do you ship internationally?

We ship international orders through FedEx International Economy to several countries. Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight of your package and the country/location of the shipping address. For international shipping, FedEx live rates are provided upon checking out. International delivery times vary and can take up to or more than 21 days.

Why did your international shipping rates change?

In an effort to improve shipping times and avoid lost parcels with international orders, we recently shifted our shipping method to FedEx live rates. Due to limited transportation availability as a result of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, rates have increased for all countries.

Do you ship to P.O. boxes?

First Class USPS will ship to P.O. boxes. UPS Overnight will not ship to P.O. boxes.

Where does ANISA Beauty ship from?

All items ship from our fulfillment center in Atlanta, Georgia.

What shipping methods do you offer and how much does it cost?

Various shipping methods are offered, including First Class (USPS), UPS Overnight, and FedEx International Economy, with costs based on the shipping method and destination. For more detailed information about shipping rates and policies, please visit our shipping policy page.

How soon will I receive tracking information after my order is placed?

You should receive an order confirmation via email shortly after your order is placed. Once your order has been processed, 1-2 business days, a tracking number will be sent via email.

Return Policy

What is your return policy?

Our goal is to help you discover makeup and skincare tools that elevate your beauty routine — we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you’re not 100% happy with your order, we gladly accept returns within 30 days of initial purchase. At this time, we do not accept returns for international orders.

Does the prepaid return label expire?

Upon receiving the prepaid return label, you have 30 days to return the product. Any returns received after 30 days are no longer eligible for a refund and will be returned to sender.

Can I cancel or change my order?

Orders cannot be canceled once the order has shipped. If you have a change to your order, please email support@anisabeauty.com as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee any order changes or cancelations but will do our best to accommodate your request.

What if my order arrived with something missing/incorrect/damaged?

ANISA Beauty must be notified of defective items prior to the return of such items and within 12 days of the mail delivery date. Notifications must be in the form of email to support@anisabeauty.com identifying the defect and the need of a return or exchange.

How long will it take to process my return?

Once you submit your return request, please allow 1-2 business days to receive a return shipping label. Please allow up to 5 business days for your package to arrive back to our warehouse. All refunds will be credited to the original payment method within 10 business days of processing at our warehouse.
